Workshop Log 005 — ForceBox at Rebel Scum Con
Our first convention as ForceBox took us to Rebel Scum Con—and it reminded us exactly why we started building.
We spent the day surrounded by Mandalorians, cosplayers, prop builders, artists, and fans who understand the particular joy of turning an idea into something real. Every conversation, costume detail, and clever solution sent us home with new inspiration.
ForceBox is still being forged, but trips like this help shape what it needs to become: a modular effects system built for makers who want light, sound, controls, and story working together—without burying an unserviceable web of electronics inside the build.
Rebel Scum was our first convention. It will not be our last.
Next time, ForceBox won’t just be watching from the sidelines.
